The Treasurer's accounts , which had been previously audited ( a satisfactory balance being shown ) , were duly passed .

At the conclusion of the business a pleasant social evening was spent , the usual loyal and Masonic toasts , including " The Healths of the Newly-exalted Companions , " were given with the customary honours , and at the conclusion of the proceedings none of those present could fail to acknowledge that " profit and pleasure in ample measure " had been the result .

The Treasurer's accounts , which had been previously audited ( a satisfactory balance being shown ) , were duly passed .

At the conclusion of the business a pleasant social evening was spent , the usual loyal and Masonic toasts , including " The Healths of the Newly-exalted Companions , " were given with the customary honours , and at the conclusion of the proceedings none of those present could fail to acknowledge that " profit and pleasure in ample measure " had been the result .

"

The motion was seconded by Comp . J . L . Lewis , and carried unanimously . There being no further business , the chapter was closed . At the social board "The Health of Comp . George Sam Smith , the Newly-exalted Companion , " was proposed by the M . E . Z . and heartily drunk ; and Comp . Smith replied in suitable terms . "The Visitors" was also proposed , and responded to by Comps . Lisenden and Wilson .
