irom absent members were read . The conclave was then closed , and the sir knights adjourned to the banquet at Freemasons' Tavern , where they were joined by several members of the Grand Conclave . Among the latter were Sir Knights Dr . Woodman , M . D ., G . Treas ., and C . F . Hogard , G . R . The usual loyal toasts having been honoured , " The
Health of the Grand Viceroy , Grand Council , and Grand Senate" was fluently proposed by the M . P . S . Sir Knight Dr . Woodman , in his reply , expressed his great gratification at the steady progress which the Order was making . He felt proud at again being elected Grand Treasurer , and he would continue to do his utmost to forward the interests of the Order in every possible way .
Ssir Knight Hogard then gave a brief resume of the work of the Order during the past year . He said that he quite agreed with the last speaker as to the gradual , but sure , progress the Degree was making . He had every reason to believe that during the coming year many new conclaves would be established , and several of the dormant ones revived . Since he had had the honour of being Recorder he
had endeavoured to bring matters into a clear and serviceable condition , and he should not relax his efforts in the future . Sir Knight George Kenning , on behalf of the members of the Grand Council , expressed a hope that the Order would again flourish , and eventually become as influential as the Mark , the Temple , and other Grades were . He
trusted that every member of the Grand Council would do his best to promote the welfare of the Degree . Sir Knight T . C . Walls , on behalt of the Grand Senate , expressed similar feelings to the precedingspeakers . B "The Health of the M . P . S . " followed . Sir Knight Mickley , in reply , thanked the members of
the Premier Conclave for the great kindness that they at all times had manifested towards him . He felt exceedingly gratified that his humble services had been thought so worthy of recognition as to warrant the presentation of a jewel . In conclusion , he said that he hoped during the ensuing year to introduce some new members . "The Past Sovereigns " was coupled with the names of '
Sir Knights Shirley and Walls , who responded . "The Treasurer and Recorder" followed . In givimr the toast , the M . P . S . touched on the valuable services ren " dered to the conclave by Sir Knights Cubitt and Mason . Among the latter were Sir Knights Dr . Woodman , M . D ., G . Treas ., and C . F . Hogard , G . R . The usual loyal toasts having been honoured , " The
Health of the Grand Viceroy , Grand Council , and Grand Senate" was fluently proposed by the M . P . S . Sir Knight Dr . Woodman , in his reply , expressed his great gratification at the steady progress which the Order was making . He felt proud at again being elected Grand Treasurer , and he would continue to do his utmost to forward the interests of the Order in every possible way .
Ssir Knight Hogard then gave a brief resume of the work of the Order during the past year . He said that he quite agreed with the last speaker as to the gradual , but sure , progress the Degree was making . He had every reason to believe that during the coming year many new conclaves would be established , and several of the dormant ones revived . Since he had had the honour of being Recorder he
had endeavoured to bring matters into a clear and serviceable condition , and he should not relax his efforts in the future . Sir Knight George Kenning , on behalf of the members of the Grand Council , expressed a hope that the Order would again flourish , and eventually become as influential as the Mark , the Temple , and other Grades were . He
trusted that every member of the Grand Council would do his best to promote the welfare of the Degree . Sir Knight T . C . Walls , on behalt of the Grand Senate , expressed similar feelings to the precedingspeakers . B "The Health of the M . P . S . " followed . Sir Knight Mickley , in reply , thanked the members of
the Premier Conclave for the great kindness that they at all times had manifested towards him . He felt exceedingly gratified that his humble services had been thought so worthy of recognition as to warrant the presentation of a jewel . In conclusion , he said that he hoped during the ensuing year to introduce some new members . "The Past Sovereigns " was coupled with the names of '
