M ., in rcognition of his services as W . M . during the Jubilee year . The jewel bore the following inscription— " Presented by the lodge of St . Kew , No . 1222 , to Bro . G . E . Alford , W . M . during the year of Jubilee ,
1887 , " and the presentation was made by the W . M . of the lodge , Bro . G . H . Perrett , who alluded to the excellent services rendered by Bro . shall be fired , commencing at noon . The guns will be fired at the Tower of London , Edinburgh Castle , Plymouth , and Dover . Similar marks of respect to the late Emperor will be shown at the principal naval stations by the Royal Navy .
