ANDREWS , the Prov . Grand Treasurer was re-elected by the unanimous vote of the Prov . Grand Chapter .

The CHAIRMAN submitted the toast of " The First Principal and Officers of the Receiving Chapter ( Dorchester , No . 417 ) , " and thanked the companions for the reception of Prov . Grand Chapter . After the confirmation of the previous minutes , the Prov . G . Sec , Bro . II . STOCKER , read letters of apology received from various brethren . Bro . the Hon . Sir STAFFORD NORTHCOTE , Bart ., C . B ., M . P ., in moving the adoption of the Prov . G . Secretary ' s report , congratulated iht province on having attained an increased number in msmbe ship , and hopad it would
still continue to prosper . Bro . G . S . S TRODE-LOWE seconded the proposition , which was cairieil . The Prov . Grand Treasurer ' s report showed a substantial balance in hand , and it was agreed to contribute out of the same funds to the Mirk Benevolent and lo the F ' ortescue Annuity Funds .
Bro . James Cull was unanimously elected Prov . Grand Treasurer forthe ensuing year , and Bros . John Olver and Charles Pope were selected as Auditors . It was unanimously agreed to re-elect Bros . J . Lane , J . Stocker , J . Gover , and Francis Crouch on the Committee of General Purposes . The following Prov . Grand Officers were then appointed :

Sir Stafford Northcole , had rendered to the province during the last six years , and proposed that the present Prov . Grand Master be recommended to preside over them for a further term . Bro . J ONES seconded , and the proposition was received with great unanimity .
At the conclusion of the Prov . Grand Lodge business , the PROV . G RANT ' MASTER thanked those present for so kindly receiving his name , and trusted that if again placed in the proud position he then held he should continue to do his best for the welfare of the province he had the honour to represent . He ( the Right Hon . Sir Stafford Northcote ) desired to thank the D . P . G . M ..
Bro . Strode-Lowe , for the valuable assistance rendered during the past three years , and also to record the thanks of those present to the brethren of Lodge Devon for so kindly placing at their disposal the lodge room for the purpose of this year ' s annual meeting . The brethren then adjourned to the Globe Hotel , where an admirable repast was served by the proprietor , presided over by the Prov . Grand Master and his officers .
