O Q his proposition , seconded by . Bro . Hawkins Past Master Fitzroy Lodge ( Honourable Artillery Company ) , the resolution
following was passed , all the Brethren standing up while voting unanimously : " That the hearty congratulations of this Quarterly Court be presented to His Eoyal Highness the Prince of Wales Most Worshipful Grand Master President of our Institution , on his Providential escape from the hands of a would-be assassin . "

D . was re-elected Treasurer , and the Chairman then gave an account of the progress that is being made with the erection of the new schools at Bushey , of which the Duke of Connaught is to lay the corner-stone on the 12 th prox . The Committee beg to report that they have considered an application from the Supreme Grand Chapter of New Zealand for recognition as a Sovereign Boyal Arch Body . The Committee having regard to the fact that the Grand Lodge o £ New
Zealand has been formally recognised by the Grand Lodge of England as a Sovereign Body within the Colony , recommend that the recognition asked for be accorded , the Supreme Grand Chapter of England undertaking not to grant any Charters for new Boyal Arch Chapters within the Colony , other than for Chapters to be attached to Lodges remaining under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of England .
