Tunis . W , Bio . Lenglri founded the Lodge " Caprern , " at Alexandria , in 1863 , of which he became W . Eleanor Cross Lodge No . 1764 . —It was onr pleasure in September last to record the consecration of what nt tho timo promised to be a most successful Lodge . Tho whole of the proceedings on that occasion were arranged aud carried out with such thoroughness as not . to leave a < lr . nbt ( W , this addition to our roll of Lodges started nndor most favourable auspices , nor from tho number of

nominations handed in after tho moro important business of the day was there any fear that the officers would lack opportunity of showing their capabilities . The best proof that tho former of these surmises is correct , is to bo found in tho fact that at tho Festival of tho Bono , volent Institution , held lust week , the Lodgo was represented by a Steward whose list reached tho handsome total of £ 50 ;

while tho general aspect of the Lodge evinces a like state of prosperity . As regards the other point ; the members have beeu obliged to hold three emergency meetings , in addition to the regnlar monthl y ones , on each of which occasions there hove been candidates for one or other of tho degrees . From our experience , the now members could not have beeu more impressively received in any Lodge than they

were in this , and we hope tho ceremonies in which they took part have mado a favourable impression on their minds ; if they have not , it certainly cannot be from a want of efficiency on tho part of tho Officers who conducted the proceedings .
