Warwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry . On reaching fche porch of the sacred edifice , tbe members of the band fell back on either side of the avenue , playing tbe national anthem , while the various members of the Order , together ivith a numerous and respectable assemblage of persons interested in the proceedings , entered fche church . Upon entering the edifice , tbe organist ( Mr . Henry Mathews ) performed the national anthem , on the powerful organ , wifcli much effect . By this time the noble structure presented a most leasing tbe clergy

p appearance , being attired in their canonicals , and tbe choristers , about thirty in number , in their robes ; Avhile the number of ladies present , and the varied costumes ,, insignia , and decorations of the officers and members of the fraternit y , formed iii combination a scene of grandeur at once novel and imposing . The arrangements for Divine service were as follows : —Psalm 104 , Chant , Dr . Crotch ; first lesson "Magnificat , "—Wesley ; Second Lesson , "Nunc Diznitfcis" — Wesley ; Anthem , Beethoven— " Great God of all , Holy Creator . " Hymn ( before

the sermon ) B . Goodaere ( St . George ' s ) , " Great Architect of Earth and Heaven , " etc . The intonation was performed by the Rev . TV . H . Ifibberfc and Bro . the Rev . — Molony , Sub-Vicar ; the lessons being read by Bro . the Rev . G . Granville , Vicar . The choral portion was throughout exceedingly effective , tie anthem particularly , ivas rendered , by the able accompaniment of Mr . Matthews on the organ , in the mosfc artistic manner : The sermon ivas preached by Bro . the Rev . TV . K . Riland Bedford , Provincial Grand Chaplain . After offering a special prayer on the occasion , the rev . gentleman took bis text from tbe 5 th chapter of the book of Ezra , v . 11—" Andthus they returned us answer , saying , We are the servants of the God of Heaven and earth , and build tho house that ivas builder ! these many

years ago , ivliich a great ICiug of Israel builded and set up . " The discourse was exceedingly eloquent and appropriate , and was delivered wifch such distinctness as to be easily audible in any portion of tbe edifice . Towards . the close of tbe rev . gentleman ' s discourse , be alluded in tbe most happy manner to the great poet of nature , whose mighty genius and endless fame hacl obtained a further recognition by the title ofthe present Lodge being consecrated as that of the " Bard of Avon . " Afc the conclusion of the scrmoa a collection AVUS made in aid of tbe fund for a painted AvindoAv in the church .

At tbe end ofthe service tbe procession was re-fonncd , and , after retracing their steps as tar as the Corn Exchange , High-street , ivbere the members halted for about half an hour , during Avhich time the band played several airs outside the building , they proceeded fco fche Town Hall , and the banquet ivhich took place was in every way ivorthy of fche occasion . Ifc was served b y Bro . H . Hartley , ancl ivas presided over by the Provincial Grand Master , Lord Leigh . Tho band of fche Yeomanry performed during dinner a selection of music in admirable style . The customary

loyal , patriotic , and Masonic toasts were , iu the course of the evening duly honoured , aucl the guests separated at an early hour . We are unable to give a correct list of all the members of the Order present on the occasion , but noticed ( in addition fco the names already given ) , Bros . Tilbury , London ; Overbnry , Alcester ; Hauce , Alcester ; R . M . Bird , Edward Gibbs , Robert Gibbs , TV . J . Hobbes , TV . Butcher , and Adams , Stratford-on-Avon . The members belonged principally to Lodges at Stafford , Leainingfcon , Birmingham , and Alcester , There sliht

was a gdisplay of flags , & c , aud the various windows and buildings along the line of the procession wero occupied wifch anxious gazers . Tbe able services of the choristers and organist of the parish church were recognised by a dinner provided for them at the expense of the Lodge .
