CASTLE LODGE OF HARMONY ( No . 27 ) . —A meeting of this old red apron Lodge was held at the Thatched House Tavern , St . James ' s-street , on Monday , Jan . 2-itli . Bro . Dr . Hinxman , W . M . in the chair , supported by tho following Past Masters , Bros . John Nelson , P . S . G . D . ; J . H . Law ; Dr . Craft ; R . Warner Wheeler , key , and the officers of the Lodge . Bro . McDonald having been balloted for , ancl elected , was most impressively initiatedinto the Order . The Loclge was then opened in tho second and third degrees , and the S . W ., Bro . William Robert Wood , G . Stewardwho had been unanimously elected as W . M . for the ensuing yearat the

, , previous meeting of tho Lodge , was most ably installed by Bro . Dr . Hinxman . Tho W . M . then proceeded to invest his officers : Bro . Luff , S . W . ; Bro . Rev . J . Westerin , J . W . ; Bro . Nelson , Treas . ; Bro . Dr . Hinxman , Sec . ; Bro , Crispin , S . D ., & c . etc . All business being concluded , and the Lodge closed , the Brethren adjourned to the banquet , aud passed the evening with that social harmony for which this Lodge has long been distinguished .
