Provincial.

Moved by Bro . Cooke , W . M ., and Seconded by Bro . Somerville" The Brethren of the Belvidere Lodge , No . 741 , regret to learn that the Freemasons' Magazine is not supported in a manner worthy of the Craft , and that it is in danger thereby of being discontinued . Being impressed with a profound conviction that the publication of a respectable Magazine is of the greatest importance as a record of Masonic events , and as a medium by which the Brethren

in every part of the British dominions may have the means of communicating their opinions , sentiments , and feelings upon Masonic subjects , the W . Master and Brethren of the Belvidere Lodge venture to call upon the Craft generally , in England , to take this subject into serious consideration . Believing that the Freemasons' Magazine is , on the whole , well worthy of the support of the Craft , and that its discontinuance would he a great misfortune to the interests of Freemasonry , the following Brethren of the Belvidere Lodge pledge themselves to take the Magazine regularly . *
