• " The two principal Grand Lodges of New York have formed a union , and agreed to suspend further laAvsuits and unfraternal acts . The basis of harmony is the granting # life membership in the Grand Lodge to all who had served at least twelve months as Masters of Lodges prior to Dec . 1849 . Kane , the Arctic explorer , Avhose deatb last year was so sincerely deplored , Three years is the time cpntemplated to secure the fim irom the energy of the corresponding secretary and agent , Bro .
