The proceedings of the Conclave having been brought to a close , the Sir Knights ^ journed to the banquet ; the chair being occupied by the V . E , Prov . G . Commaridery Sir Knight H . S . S . Burney . On the removal of the cloth , the following toasts were proposed and duly honoured : — - " Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen , the daughter of a Knight Templar . " " Prince Alhert , and the rest of the Royal Family . " " The Most Eminent Commander , Sir Knight Kemys Kemys Tynte . "
In proposing this toast the V . E . Prov . G . Commander alluded to the great respect and esteem felt by all Knights Templar for the Ven . Sir Knight who ably presided over the Order . Succeeding the late lamented M . E . and S . G . M ., H . B . H . the Duke of Sussex , he had to bring allhis energies to work so as to fill the hiatus caused b y the death of his Boyal Highness , and ably had he supplied the loss the Order then sustained ; and it was with feelings of the greatest affection that the Sir Knights of the Order saw him a short month since , although suffering from a very grievous affliction , preside over the Grand Conclave . Commander coupling with this toast the name of one looked up to with respect and regard by all Masons , more particularly Knights Templar—Sir Knight Wm . White , the P . G .
