determine to correct them . ETHEE . —The authorities of St . Helena are not justified in giving the three degrees in one night ; but under the Book of Constitutions the Colonial Lodges have the power af granting the various degrees at intervals of seven days each . This concession in favour of the Colonial Lodges teas made in consequence of many representations to the G . L . ofEng-£ hind that they stood in an unfavourable position , vnder the law applicable to the mother country , in comparison with Lodges wider Irish and Scotch Charters , in the same Colonies —in which facilities were given far passing through the various degrees in less time than

would be allowed wider the English- Constitution . It is to be regretted that entire uniformity of action cannot be obtained throughout ihe th-te ( masonically speaking ) kingdoms , which , by a little arrangement , might easily be clone , without interfering with the independent power of the G . L . of either . For his observations on other subjects , Ethee is thanked .

The Fieemasons' Girls' School was founded by the Chevalier Ruspini . The letter respecting the late matron , Mrs . Crook , shall be attended to , and an answer given in the next number of the "Mirror . " THE BON ACCORD MARK MASONS . —Dr . Wm . Jones is the Founder of the London Mark Masons Lodge , the illegality of which is so clearly proved hy the Correspondence we publish in another page . Dr . Jones is said to have obtained the Charter , if it has a right to bedesignuted by such a title , through a Br . llitchie . The crowded slate of our pages has alone prevented us drawing more marked attention lo the subject in our present number .
