reply to the toast of " The Consecrating Officers , " made a few brief but sincere remarks , and also , in proposing the toast of '' The YY ' orshipful Master , " spoke in very laudable terms in his honour . YV . Bro . Larmour , D . G . YY . of Bengal , made a happy speech in reply to "The Y'isitors , " and mentioned that he was most impressed and gratified at the perfect rendering of the consecration ceremony by Bro . Letchworth .

H ^ HK Borough of Islington Lodge has been founded in I connection with the newly-formed Borough , and is composed of its Aldermen , Councillors , and officials , the Mayor , Bro . John Crump , P . A . G . D . C , being its first YY ' orshipful Master . The ceremony of consecration took place at Beale ' s

Restaurant , Holloway Road , on September 23 th . The Grand Secretary was assisted b y Y . YW Bro . Alderman Y ' aughan Morgan , as SAW ; YW Bro . Under-Slieriff T . H . Gardiner , P . A . G . D . C , as JAY . ; V . YY ' . Bro . the Rev . Canon Brownrigg , P . G . Chaplain , as Chaplain ; Y ' . YY ' . Bro . Frank Richardson , P . G . Reg ., as D . C . ; and YV . Bro . YY ' . A . C Crump , as I . G . The ceremony was , as usual , faultlessly performed by the

Grand Secretary . Bro . the Rev . Canon Brownrigg ' s oration on this occasion dealt with the question of the advantages to be derived from the connection of Freemasonry with municipal life , and was both able and appropriate . At the banquet which followed , the YY ' orshipful Master , in proposing the toast of "The Grand Officers , " eulogised

their work in connection with the consecration , and especially welcomed amongst them Alderman Y ' aughan Morgan , whom he described as a link between the Corporation of the City of London , the mother of municipalities , and one of its latest offsprings , the Borough of Islington . Bro . Alderman Y ' aughan Morgan , in response , expressed the pleasure he felt in having to reply for the Grand Officers ,
