As regards banquet , nothing better could have been expected , the brands of the wines , the excellence of the viands , and the prompt service being all that could be desired . The Worshipful Master having tendered his sincere thanks to those brethren who had so ably contributed to their entertainment , the Tyler ' s toast terminated a most enjoyable evening .

M . rose for the third time , and in a terse and most eloquent and affecting speech referred to the lamented death of Bro . C . A . Woods , P . M . 145 , whose good qualities as a man and a Mason would , we hope , entitle him to ascend to the Grand
Lodge above , as in him was personified the true attributes of a Freemason . The whole of the lodge sympathised with the loss sustained by the decease of Bro . Woods , who died on Thursday , the 21 st inst ., and wasburiedat Nunhead Cemetery on the 25 th . A vote of condolence to his sister and the family was ordered to be recorded on the minutes . All Masonic business being ended , the lodge was closed .

Lodge above , as in him was personified the true attributes of a Freemason . The whole of the lodge sympathised with the loss sustained by the decease of Bro . Woods , who died on Thursday , the 21 st inst ., and wasburiedat Nunhead Cemetery on the 25 th . A vote of condolence to his sister and the family was ordered to be recorded on the minutes . All Masonic business being ended , the lodge was closed .
