the last meeting read and confirmed . The lodge was niiened in the Second Degree The lodge was opened in the Third Degree . The 1 st Section of the Lecture was worked by Bro . Westley . The lodge was resumed to the First Degree , and the ceremony of raising- being announced and Bro . Ambler . The lodge was opened in due form , and the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed . The Preceptor then worked the 2 nd and 3 rd Sections of the First Lecture , assisted by the brethren . The lodge was then closed .

A ballot , which proved unanimous in favour of Bro . Gilling , was taken . Bro . Saunders was accepted as candidate , and , on being examined and entrusted , retired while the lodge was

opened in the Second Degree , and the ceremony of passing was then very ably rehearsed by the Worshipful Master , who also recited the explanation of the tracing board . Drew was unanimously elected Preceptor , and the compliment of honorary membership was conferred upon him , as also upon

Bro . James Stevens , formerly Preceptor to the Camden Lodge of Instruction . Bro . Wimbush was then elected Treasurer , and Bro . Walter Robin Secretary . A Committee was appointed to frame by-laws . Thanks were voted to the Hornsey Lodge , through its W . M ., for the warrant , and to

the members of the late Camden Lodge of Instruction for the gift of Masonic furniture , which is to be held in trust by the Preceptor and Secretary for the time being . Bro . Pickering was elected W . M . for the opening night of working in the ensuing week , and Bro . Thomas for Thursday , the 5 th prox ., and the lodge was then closed .

LILY LODGE ( No . 820 ) . —The annual meeting of this lodge was held at the Greyhound Hotel , Richmond , on Tuesday , the 17 th inst ., under the presidency of Bro . F . C . The lodge was resumed to the First Degree , and the ceremony of raising- being announced and Bro . Henneli having offered himself as a candidate , and having answered the usual questions , was entrusted . TWIod ° -e was resumed to the Third Degree , and Bro .

Henneli duly raised to the Degree of a Master Mason . The lodge was resumed to the First Degree . The VV . M . rose for the first time , and dues were collected . Bros . the members of the late Camden Lodge of Instruction for the gift of Masonic furniture , which is to be held in trust by the Preceptor and Secretary for the time being . Bro .
