THE IMPERIAL INSTITUTE . —Various " . opinions are expressed cf this institution , but , so far as British workmen are concerned , it is a fact that nut one in a hundred of them has ever seen the structure at South Kensington , or made himself acquainted with its valuable contents ; it is impossible , therefore , for this i •portant class to form an independent opinion of its merits . When the summer Siason shall have been opened , and the musical and other attractions be in full force , it is proposed to arrange tor a visit to the instituteand—after the visitors have studied the treasures of the galleries
, which illustrate the boundless wealth of our Colonial Empire—they will be entertained with an excellent dinner . We have no doubt that the hospitality of the authorities or the institute will be wcithy of the occasion , and that a rare opponunity will be found ol combining instruction in imperial matters with a pleasant recieation . Special arrangements will be made for the issue of tickets , and communications should be addressed ^'
