Recently he has been further honoured by being appointed by H . R . H . the Prince of Wales , M . W . G . M . M ., as District Grand Mark

Last year h ? was elected unopposed to a seit in the Legislative Council of the Colony and his unanimous election for the pist three years to the position of Grand Master , speaks well also for the estimation and regard
entertained towards him by the members of the Craft in Tasmania , which feelings also extend to the mainland . of Australia . The Grand Master , who is accompanied by his wife and daughter , has been cordially received in England by all branches of Masonry , and has expressed himself delighted and honoured at the fraternal greetings extended to him from all sides . The trip to England for the benefit of his health has been very beneficial , and he leaves for his home—Hobart , Tav . nania—next week , carrying with him the best wishes of the fraternity for himself and the Grand Lodge , over which he presides so happily .
