A . 1885 . ) Shortly after quitting the University , I was appointed Mathematical Master in Truro Grammar School , but retired from that position on being called to the Bar in 1881 , since when I have practised up co the present time , and have been engaged in the compilation of more than one legal work . The published transactions of the Provincial Grand Lodge and Provincial Grand Chapter of Durham during the year 188 9 show not only that our brethren in this influential northern county have been very activel y engaged in Masonic pursuits during that period , but likewise that tlie result of their labours has been in all respects satisfactory .
