THE Committee urgently appeal to the generosity of thc Clergy and Laity of tlio Chnrch of England for fresh support , in order that the sum of £ 8 , 500 a year , which is urgently required to maintain the work of tho Corporation alike in numbers and efficiency , may be raised before the close of the year . For more than 150 years the Corporation has been carrying on its beneficent work , and . during that lime 3 , 181 orphan sons and daughters of the Clergy have been educated , clothed , ami maintained m the Schools free Of all Charge to the Mother or ( jiiardian , while 240 such children are at the present time in them .
