The latter portion of the evening was devoted to the practise of opening and closing the lodge in the various Degrees . This being the first occasion on which Bro . J . Corp had occupied the chair of this lodge , a cordial vote of thanks was accorded him by the brethren for the eminently creditable way in which the ceremony had been worked

and the charge delivered . Bro . Corp responded in suitable terms . Bro . Nock , S . VV ., was elected W . M . for the ensuing meeting , and appointed his officers , and announced that the work vvould be the ceremony of passing , and the 3 rd and 4 th Sections of the First Lecture . The latter portion of the evening was devoted to the practise of opening and closing the lodge in the various Degrees . This being the first occasion on which Bro . J . Corp had occupied the chair of this lodge , a cordial vote of thanks was accorded him by the brethren for the eminently creditable way in which the ceremony had been worked

and the charge delivered . Bro . Corp responded in suitable terms . Bro . Nock , S . VV ., was elected W . M . for the ensuing meeting , and appointed his officers , and announced that the work vvould be the ceremony of passing , and the 3 rd and 4 th Sections of the First Lecture .
