Mr . Frederick Argall , artist , of Truro , has just issued a most successful photographic group of H . R . H . the Prince of Wales and other distinguished Craftsmen and gentlemen , who formed the hunting party at Mount Edgcumbe in November last . It is one of his most finished efforts , and reflects the greatest credit on his artistic ability , the grouping being simply perfection . The
prominent figure , of course , is His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales , sitting in front of the balcony of the well-kno . vn shooting box , having the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe ( the esteemed host ) , P . G . M . of Cornwall , on his left , Admiral Lord John Hay on the right , next to whom is the very striking picture of Lord Suffield , P . G . M , of Norfolk , others of the merry-looking party being Lord
Valletort , Col . Stanley Clarke , Col . the Hon . C Edgcumbe , the Hon . Athole Liddell , and suite . In the foreground are scattered in rich profusion , the evidence of their skill as sportsmen . The pose is exceedingly good , and the perspective could not be better . How Mr . Argall contrives to publish such large mounted photographs ( 11 by 9 ) for 3 s . 6 d . each we cannot understand ; but the fact remains that he only asks that modest sum for copies free by post . An
enlarged size is also preparing . It is considered that a better group has not been taken of the Royal party at any time , so that the hearty reception it is meeting with is we " deserved .
