MINUTES OF THE OLD DRUIDS' LODGE .

To the Editor ofthe "Freemason . " Dear Sir and Brother , In reading over the minutes of the Old Druids ' Lodge of Love and Liberality , No . 113 , Redruch , Cornwall , I have met with many things that appear to me to be very peculiar , and which are not in accordance with the present practice in our lodge , or any other lodge with which I am

acquainted . 1 shall be much obliged if you or any of your numerous readers would let me know if it is now usual , or was at this date ( 1787 ) to initiate persons into Masomy at a Provincial Uiand Lodge , and if so , if more than one Degree was given on the same day . 1 give the minute in extenso , omitting only the list of

memoers delivered to Prov . Grand Lodge , in order that it might be transmitted to Grand Lodge , which appears to have been the custom at that date . 1 may add that the last-named brother of those that attended Prov . Grand Ludge ( the Rev . William Harpur , of St . Agnes , in the county of Cornwall , Clerk in Holy Orders ) , was , at a buecial Lodge , held on the same morning , at Kedruth .

" Dear Sir and Brother , In reading over the minutes of the Old Druids ' Lodge of Love and Liberality , No . 113 , Redruch , Cornwall , I have met with many things that appear to me to be very peculiar , and which are not in accordance with the present practice in our lodge , or any other lodge with which I am

acquainted . 1 shall be much obliged if you or any of your numerous readers would let me know if it is now usual , or was at this date ( 1787 ) to initiate persons into Masomy at a Provincial Uiand Lodge , and if so , if more than one Degree was given on the same day . 1 give the minute in extenso , omitting only the list of

memoers delivered to Prov . Grand Lodge , in order that it might be transmitted to Grand Lodge , which appears to have been the custom at that date . 1 may add that the last-named brother of those that attended Prov . Grand Ludge ( the Rev . William Harpur , of St . Agnes , in the county of Cornwall , Clerk in Holy Orders ) , was , at a buecial Lodge , held on the same morning , at Kedruth .
