C ; Lawrence Steele , P . E . C . ; Oscar Berry and others . The encampment was dosed and the sir knights adjourned to the banquet which was , as usual , served in Bro . C .

Sadler ' s excellent style . The members were here joined by Bros . J . Young , P . M . ; Thomas Simpson , P . M . ; T . O . Harding , M . A . ; and J . Jackson . Upon the removal of the cloth , the President gave several toast" . He was particularly happy in his remarks anent " The Visitors , " to which toast Bros . J . Young , T . Simpson , T . O . Harding , and J . Jackson-duly responded . The weather , however , was so warm and the rural

surroundings of the hotel so pleasant that post-prandial oratory suffered in consequence . Bro . Egbert Roberts enlivened the proceedings by his vocal gifts , and Bros . F . W . Driver and R . C . Fillingham contributed poetical effusions under extraneous difficulties . The meeting broke up at an earl y hour , and the members and their guests were soon speeding from Hampton ' s pastoral and aquatic beauties to prosaic London's noise and smoke .
