Page 79 , § 9 . —1 he wardens and officers of a lodge cannot be removed , unless for a cause which appears to the lodge to hc sufficient ; but the master , if he be dissatisfied with the conduct of any of his

officers , may lay the cause of complaint before the lodge ; and if it shall appear to thc majority of the brethren present that the complaint be well founded , he shall have power to displace such ollicer , - and appoint another .

Page 80 , § 3 . —No brother shall presume to print or publish , or cause to be printed and published , the proceedings of any lodge , or any part thereof , or the names of the persons jiresent at such lodge , without the consent of the grand master , or provincial grand master , under bain of being

if the same be proper lo be published according to thc laws of masonry . This law does not extend to furnishing printed copies of documents for the use of any board or committee investigating such case of masonic complaint , provided the

same are sent through thc grand secretary , provincial or district grand secretary , or the secretary of such board or committee respectively , nor to the writing , printing , or publishing of any notice or summons issued to the members of a lodge by the authority of the master , nor to the proceedings of any festival or public

deciding the question j such day to be at least one week after the issuing of the summonses . The majority present shall determine the question , provided the master be one of that majority ; but if he be against removing , the lodge shall nut be removed , unless the majority consists of two-thirds of the members present . It

the master should refuse to issue the . sum monses , either of the wardens may do so , and if the master neglect to attend , the senior or junior warden may preside in determining the question . Page 93 , % 2 . —If the meeting of a lodge at its usual place should , by any circumstance , be rendered impracticable or

improper , the master may appoint any other place for a meeting , to consult his brethren on the occasion , and whether a permanent removal may be expedient .

Page 94 , § 2 . —If any brother shall attend as a mason , clothed in any of the jewels or badges of the craft , at any funeral or public procession , without the permission of

the grand master , or provincial grand master , he shall be rendered incapable of ever being an officer of a lodge , and excluded thc benefit of the general charity . And if a lodge shall so offend , it shall stand suspended until the grand lodge shall determine thereon .

all the privileges and benefits of the era ft . 157 . —Notice of the times and places of meeting of lodges of instruction , within the London district , shall be submitted for approval to the grand secretary , and in provinces aud . districts to th , ? provincial and district fraud secretaries reshectivelv .

158 . —Contains a similar new provision . 14 S . —No visitor shall be admitted into a lodge unless he be personally known to , or well vouched for after due examination hy one of the brethren present , or until he has produced the certificate of the grand lodge to which he claims to belong , and

has given satisfactory proof that lie is the brother named in the certificate , or other proper vouchers of his having been initiated in a regular lodge . Kvery visitor during his presence in the lodge is subject to its by-laws . 149 . —It is within the power of the master

of every private lodge to refuse admission to any visitor whose presence hc has reason to believe will disturb thc harmony of the lodge , or to any visitor of known bad character . 150 . —No brother who has ceased to be a subscribing member of a lodge shall be permitted to visit anyone lodge more than once until he again become a subscribing

member of some lodge . 171 , —Every lodge when it makes the return of its contributing members , and of the brethren whom it has initiated or admitted , shall make a remittance for the registration fees , joining fees , fees for certificates , and quarterly contributions fiom each of its contributing members to the Fund of Benevolence [ 307 , 30 S ] .

200 . —No lodge shall grant a private lodge certificate to a brother , except the certificate mentioned in Rule 210 , or a certificate of all dues having been paid to enable him to join * another lodge , for neither of which certificates shall any charge be made .

1 C 4 . —Unless otherwise specified in the warrant , any lodge may be removed from one house to another provided the following regulations he strictl y complied with . If at any regular meeting a notice ol motion for the removal of the lodge be given and signed by not fewer than seven subscribing members the master shall summon a special meeting of the lodge for

considering and finally deciding the question ; such meeting to be at least one week after the issuing of thc summons . The proposition shall not be carried unless twothirds of thc members voting shall agree to the removal . If the master should fail or refuse to issue the summons that duty shall devolve on the senior warden , or failing him the junior warden .

Page 92 . —Any lodge may be removed from one house to another , within the same town or place , at the discretion of its members ; but , in order to prevent disputes , and to ascertain how this power is to be exercised , the following regulations must

be strictly complied with . § 1 . No lodge shall be removed without the master ' s knowledge , nor shall any motion for reremoval be made in his absence ; but if the motionberegularly madeandseconded , the master shall order summonses to be sent to every member , specifying the business and appointing a day for hearing and

deciding the question j such day to be at least one week after the issuing of the summonses . The majority present shall determine the question , provided the master be one of that majority ; but if he be against removing , the lodge shall nut be removed , unless the majority consists of two-thirds of the members present . It

the master should refuse to issue the . sum monses , either of the wardens may do so , and if the master neglect to attend , the senior or junior warden may preside in determining the question . Page 93 , % 2 . —If the meeting of a lodge at its usual place should , by any circumstance , be rendered impracticable or

improper , the master may appoint any other place for a meeting , to consult his brethren on the occasion , and whether a permanent removal may be expedient .

Page 94 , § 2 . —If any brother shall attend as a mason , clothed in any of the jewels or badges of the craft , at any funeral or public procession , without the permission of

the grand master , or provincial grand master , he shall be rendered incapable of ever being an officer of a lodge , and excluded thc benefit of the general charity . And if a lodge shall so offend , it shall stand suspended until the grand lodge shall determine thereon .

inclusive of the registration and certificate fees , and no lodge shall remit or defer the payment of any part of this sum . This is not to extend to the making of serving brethren , who may be initiated by the lodge which they are to serve , or for thc service of the grand lodge , provided that

no fee be taken , and that a dispensation from the grand master or provincial or district grand master be first obtained , whicii shall be specified in the return made to the grand secretary , when the serving brother shall be registered free of expense , but must pay for his grand lodge

certificate . A brother so initiated cannot be a member of the lodge in which he was initiated , unless he be afterwards duly proposed and elected as in the case of a joining member , upon which event he shall pay the same fees as an initiate , and on so doing he will be entitled to

all the privileges and benefits of the era ft . 157 . —Notice of the times and places of meeting of lodges of instruction , within the London district , shall be submitted for approval to the grand secretary , and in provinces aud . districts to th , ? provincial and district fraud secretaries reshectivelv .

158 . —Contains a similar new provision . 14 S . —No visitor shall be admitted into a lodge unless he be personally known to , or well vouched for after due examination hy one of the brethren present , or until he has produced the certificate of the grand lodge to which he claims to belong , and

has given satisfactory proof that lie is the brother named in the certificate , or other proper vouchers of his having been initiated in a regular lodge . Kvery visitor during his presence in the lodge is subject to its by-laws . 149 . —It is within the power of the master

of every private lodge to refuse admission to any visitor whose presence hc has reason to believe will disturb thc harmony of the lodge , or to any visitor of known bad character . 150 . —No brother who has ceased to be a subscribing member of a lodge shall be permitted to visit anyone lodge more than once until he again become a subscribing

member of some lodge . 171 , —Every lodge when it makes the return of its contributing members , and of the brethren whom it has initiated or admitted , shall make a remittance for the registration fees , joining fees , fees for certificates , and quarterly contributions fiom each of its contributing members to the Fund of Benevolence [ 307 , 30 S ] .

200 . —No lodge shall grant a private lodge certificate to a brother , except the certificate mentioned in Rule 210 , or a certificate of all dues having been paid to enable him to join * another lodge , for neither of which certificates shall any charge be made .

1 C 4 . —Unless otherwise specified in the warrant , any lodge may be removed from one house to another provided the following regulations he strictl y complied with . If at any regular meeting a notice ol motion for the removal of the lodge be given and signed by not fewer than seven subscribing members the master shall summon a special meeting of the lodge for

considering and finally deciding the question ; such meeting to be at least one week after the issuing of thc summons . The proposition shall not be carried unless twothirds of thc members voting shall agree to the removal . If the master should fail or refuse to issue the summons that duty shall devolve on the senior warden , or failing him the junior warden .
