He would never forget the honour they had done him in placing him in the position of W . M . He did not feel he could hold out any hope of being added to the roll of honour—so many distinguished brethren had preceded hi n— but no M ister had ever entered on the duties of the office with a firm : r determination to do his level bjst ; the officers and brethren had ably assisted him . The toast of "The I . P . M ., ' also included Ihe Past Masters , Treasurer , and Secretary , to all of whom the W . M . expressed his gratitude for their support , which he fully appreciated . That was the 30 th anniversary of the initiation in that lodge of their Treasurer , Bro . Wohlgemuth , one of their esteemed Past Masters , who had attained to Provincial honours , and whose lengthy career proved conclusively he had Masonry at heart .

Bro . Wohlgemuth , in his reply , reviewed the history of the lodge and Masonry in the province , giving many interesting details . He was connected with other lodges , but in none did he expeiience the same feeling of satisfaction as in that—his motherlodge , and he hoped to be spared to respond as Treasurer in 30 years' time . The toast of " The Officers" brought from the VV . M . an expression of indebtedness

to all of them . The Tyler ' s toast concluded a most happy reunion . An excellent musical programme was provided under the direction of Bro . Eustac ; Wallace , consisting of songs by Bro .
