The voting papers for the School elections next month have been issued . We shall give , as usual , a short account of the candidates and their prospects in due course . In the meantime we may state that in the case of the Girls' School iS vacancies will be filled

from an approved list of 27—or as one name has been withdrawn , of 26—candidates at the Quarterly General Court which will be holden at Freemasons' Tavern on

Thursday , the Sth prox . In the case of the Boys ' School , the number of candidates is 37 , and the number of vacancies to be filled 19 , the election taking place at the Quarterly General Court on Friday , the 9 th prox .

Bro . John Lane's new work is now ready , and we congratulate the author on the publication of such a handsome , interesting , and valuable volume on

" Centenary Warrants and Jewels . " Such a book has long been wanted , and especially illustrations of the numerous special centenary medals , which are so little known . Only 200 copies are printed for sale at 12 s . 6 d . each .
