Grand Secretary of West Lancashire , when the donations from that Province reached the unprecedented sum of £ 6025 ios ., the Board of Management recommends that the distinction of an _ Honorary Vice-Presidency be conferred on the said Brother under Law XI . " To consider th ; following recommendations of the Council at meeting holden Saturday , October 3 rd , 1 S 91 : — ( 1 . ) That in consideration of the signal success of the late Festival , it be a recommendation to the Quarterly Court on Friday , 9 th October , ISJI , that five additional Boys be elected to the benefits of the Institution , making the total number to be elected 24 from an approved list of 37 Candidates , reduced to 36 by the withdrawal of FERGUSON , DUDLEV WARD , No . 8 on the list . ( 2 . ) That the proposal from the Province of Northumberland for the right to a Perpetual Presentation , to be called the " Hubert Lawj Memorial , " to be purchased by payment o £ 1000 guineas , on the same terms as previous agreements of a like nature , bs accepted subject to the condition that the Presentation shall be available only for sons of Northumberland Misons , and that each bay presented under same shall in every cas ; be qualified under the then existing laws of the Institution . To elect 19 , or , if above-named recommendation be adopted , 34 Boys from an approved list of 36 Candidates . The Chair will be taken at Twelve o'clock at noon precisely . The ballot for the Election of Boys will be open at One o ' clock , or so soon as the general business of the Court shall have terminated , and will close at Three o ' clock precisely .
