Dedication Of A Lodge Room At Bideford.

DEDICATION OF A LODGE ROOM AT BIDEFORD .

A lodge room in Bridgeland-street , Bideford , recently acejuired by Lodge of Benevolence , No . 489 , svas dedicated on Thursday , the 18 th ult ., in the presence of local and district brethren . Formerly the lodge was held in the Music Hall , but some time ago premises hitherto

used as the School of Art became vacant , and it was decided to secure the building as a Masonic Hall for Bideford . Three rooms on the first floor have been converted into a lodge room , and a fourth furnished as cloak room . A handsome old oak staircase leads to the ante-room . At the back provision has been made for the care taker , and underneath are apartments

available as offices . The alterations have been conducted by Mr . M . Wilson , architect , and executed by Mr . W . L . Fulford , Mr . Pickard having charge uf the painting and decoration . At three o ' clock the dedication ceremony was performed by Bro . Viscount Ebrington , Prov . G . Master , amongst nearly 100 brethren present being Bros . G .

of the dedication prayer , and the PROV . GRAND MASTER declared the building dul y dedicated . This was followed by the salutation of the P . G . M . The VV . M . elect , Bro . Rev . H . G . Dedication Of A Lodge Room At Bideford.

DEDICATION OF A LODGE ROOM AT BIDEFORD .

A lodge room in Bridgeland-street , Bideford , recently acejuired by Lodge of Benevolence , No . 489 , svas dedicated on Thursday , the 18 th ult ., in the presence of local and district brethren . Formerly the lodge was held in the Music Hall , but some time ago premises hitherto

used as the School of Art became vacant , and it was decided to secure the building as a Masonic Hall for Bideford . Three rooms on the first floor have been converted into a lodge room , and a fourth furnished as cloak room . A handsome old oak staircase leads to the ante-room . At the back provision has been made for the care taker , and underneath are apartments

available as offices . The alterations have been conducted by Mr . M . Wilson , architect , and executed by Mr . W . L . Fulford , Mr . Pickard having charge uf the painting and decoration . At three o ' clock the dedication ceremony was performed by Bro . Viscount Ebrington , Prov . G . Master , amongst nearly 100 brethren present being Bros . G .
