The Duke of DEVONSHIRE said that before the Prov . Grand Lodge was closed he should like to express the very great regret which they all must feel at the illness which prevented Bro . H . C . Okeover , Deputy Prov . G . M ., from being present that day . The whole of the Masonic Fraternity in that province were deeply indebted to him for the services which during a very long series of years he had rendered to the Order . No one was more indebted to Bro . Okeover than he ( the Duke ) , inasmuch as he had been

good enough to relieve him from almost the whole of the labour and responsibility attaching to the office which he held . He trusted that Bro . takeover ' s indisposition was only of a temporary character , and that he would soon be enabled to resume his duties in connection with Masonry . He moved that an expression of the brethren ' s sympathy be sent to Bro . Okeover in his suffering . This was seconded by Bro . W . NAYLOR , and carried .

The DUKE also referred to the necessity for enlarging the Masonic Hall , which had recently become the property ot the Prov . Grand Lodge . He hoped that the Masonic Hall Committee would give the matter their early consideration . A sum of 25 guineas was voted , on the motion of Bro . P ERCY WALLIS , to the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls . At the close of Prov .
