The ceremony of installation was then admirably worked by Bro . Deanston Carpmael , who installed Bro . Nuding . The investiture of the officers was marked by the bringing into use for the first time the new collars and handsome jewels which have been presented by various members of the lodge at the last two meetings . addresses by the I . P . M . to the W . M ., Wardens , and brethren were given quite correctly in a very agreeable and impressive manner . Bros . Pullman and Norman were proposed as joining members . Bro . Dr . Barrett ] was unanimously elected W . M . for the ensuing meeting . Hattersley and Capt . Dundas were elected members , and both , in [ acknowledging the compliment , expressed great feelings of satisfaction at the way the work had been done . £ 10 10 s . was voted from the funds of the lodge to the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , to be placed on Bro . Stroud ' s list , who , in thanking the brethren , expressed the great satisfaction he felt at being the channel

through which the Hyde Park Lodge of Instruction would become Vice-President of the R . M . B . I ., and hoped he might live to see it hold the same honourable position in the other two great Masonic Institutions , towards which the lodge had well advanced . A communication from Bro . D . P . Cama was read , thanking the brethren for their condolence in his

sad bereavement , which letter was ordered to be entered on the minutes . Other communications from Bros . Cuff , Mote , Godwin , and Smith were read , expressing their inability to be present .
