AN EXCEEDINGLY successful installation of wireless telegraphy has been estabtablished on one of the most dangerous parts of the Ushant Coast between lighthouses some 35 miles apart . The preliminary experiments have been carried out by Lieut . Tissol , of the French Nivy , on behalf of the Government , and the installation connects the Stiff lighthouse on the Isle of Ushant with the new lighthouse constructed on the lie Vierge . Other lighthouses on the French side of the Channel are to be connected in the same way .

AN EXCEEDINGLY successful installation of wireless telegraphy has been estabtablished on one of the most dangerous parts of the Ushant Coast between lighthouses some 35 miles apart . The preliminary experiments have been carried out by Lieut . Tissol , of the French Nivy , on behalf of the Government , and the installation connects the Stiff lighthouse on the Isle of Ushant with the new lighthouse constructed on the lie Vierge . Other lighthouses on the French side of the Channel are to be connected in the same way .
THE BISHOP OF STEPNEY is to preach the sermon on the occasion of the " Medical Service in State , " to be held , under the auspices of the Guild of St . Luke , in St . Paul ' s Cathedral , on Thursday evening , the 19 th instant , when the music will be rendered by the choir of over 200 voices , provided by the London Gregorian Association . Every member of the medical profession in London is invited to attend . The Lord Mayor will be present in State , and , as the congregation will comprise no small number of graduates , or fellows of colleges , attired in academical robes , the service cannot fail to lie both imposing and impressive .
