OWING to the decision to abandon the use of carrier pigeons in the Army , the entire military flying loft from Aldershot is to be put up for sale at Stevens ' s Auction Rooms next Tuesday . There are 94 lots , among them being some noted strains much sought after by fanciers . ON THE 4 th instant Ihe inquiry into the circumstances attending the death of Bro . W . W . B . Beach , M . P ., was concluded at the Westminster Coroner ' s Court . The jury returned a verdict that the deceased met his death as the result of a trench in Parliament-street being improperly filled up or levelled down ; and they added a rider that , though there had been no criminal neglect , there ought to have been some personal supervision on the part of the Westminster City Council .
