were the means of my being appointed in the following year one of the Prov Grand Stewards , and in 1 S 73 , on the Prov . Grand Lodge meeting at Chertsey , you , as D . P . G . Master of the province , recommended me tothe P . G . M . for provincial honour , when he was pleased to appoint me to the office of P . G . S . B ., and on that occasion I promised to devote myself to the cause of Charity in undertaking the office
of Steward to the respective Masonic Charitable Institutions , and 1 have much pleasure in announcing to you that I have fulfilled that promise by serving the office of Steward four times to the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys , four times for the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , and twice tn the Roval Masonic Institution for Girls , being a Vice-Patron of the first , and a Vice-President of the two
latter . Since receiving your valuable gift I feel quite a head taller . The deep feeling of my heart will not allow me to express all I wish to say ; in fact , I feel quite overcome ; but I must again return you mv sincere thanks . I feel assured that when the G . A . O . T . U . calls me from this sublunary sphere , the number of St . George ' s Lodge will be found engraved on my heart .

BRIDLINGTON . —Londesborough Lodge ( No . 734 )—1 he installation of the VV . M . elect , Bro . F . Creaser , P . M ., took place on Tuesday last in the Masonic Hall , St . John ' s-avenue . The lodge was opened by the W . M ., Bro . F . J . Timvnins , and the Installing Master , Bro . J . P . Bell , M . U ., J . P ., D . P . G . M . of North and East Yorkshire , afterwards entered the lodge , and was received with grand
honours . The installation ceremony was then proceeded with , and was performed in that admirable manner for which Bro . Bell is so noted in the Craft . The W . A sumptuous spread waspiovided by the
host and hostess , and the brethren were highly delighted with the arrangements made for their comfort . Dinner being over , the W . M . proposed the usual loyal and Masonic toasts . Bio . Gray , in proposing the toast of "The Installing Master , " remarked upon the kindness and fraternal feeling which had prompted the D . P . G . M . to come over to
Bridlington for the purpose of installing their excellent Bro . Creaser in the chair , and hoped he might be long spared to give that assistance to the Craft , which was so highly appreciated by the whole of the brethren , more especially in the Province of North and East Yorkshire . The Deputy Prov . Grand Master , in reluming thanks , dwelt upon his love for Masonry . He was always ready to d ° all in his power to further the interests of the Craft ,
and it always gave him great pleasure to visit the Londesborough Lodge , for which he believed there was a great future , which he believed would be hastened by the advent to the Master ' s chair of the worthy brolher whom he had that day installed in thc chair of K . S . He would therefore propose to them the toast of " The VV . M . and Officers of the Londesborough - Lodge , " and looked forward to their having a very successful year of office .
Reports Of Masonic Meetings.
The Worshipful Master thanked the Dep . P . G . M . for the kindly manner in which he had proposed the toast , and would endeavour , so far as he had the power , to work Ihe lodge to that state of prosperity which Dr . Bell had predicted for it . The brethren of the Londesborough Lodge were intending to hold a Swiss Bazaar in the coming summer , and he hoped each one would try his utmost to make it a
success . The remaining toasts were then proposed and responded to , and one of the most enjoyable banquets ever held by the Londesborough Lodge was brought to a close , the brethren being loud in tlieir praise of the handsome manner in which the VV . M . had entertained them . During the evening some excellent songs and recitations were given by Bros . F . and E . Wardeil , D . Craig , Davis , Jas . VVatson , and R . Severs .

It was on the last Saturday in October , 1 S 6 S , when you first introduced me into the lodge , an event which I shall ever remember with brotherly feeling , and , to show your true Masonic spirit towards trie , you
were the means of my being appointed in the following year one of the Prov Grand Stewards , and in 1 S 73 , on the Prov . Grand Lodge meeting at Chertsey , you , as D . P . G . Master of the province , recommended me tothe P . G . M . for provincial honour , when he was pleased to appoint me to the office of P . G . S . B ., and on that occasion I promised to devote myself to the cause of Charity in undertaking the office
of Steward to the respective Masonic Charitable Institutions , and 1 have much pleasure in announcing to you that I have fulfilled that promise by serving the office of Steward four times to the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys , four times for the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , and twice tn the Roval Masonic Institution for Girls , being a Vice-Patron of the first , and a Vice-President of the two
latter . Since receiving your valuable gift I feel quite a head taller . The deep feeling of my heart will not allow me to express all I wish to say ; in fact , I feel quite overcome ; but I must again return you mv sincere thanks . I feel assured that when the G . A . honours . The installation ceremony was then proceeded with , and was performed in that admirable manner for which Bro . Bell is so noted in the Craft . The W . host and hostess , and the brethren were highly delighted with the arrangements made for their comfort . Dinner being over , the W . M . proposed the usual loyal and Masonic toasts . Bio . Gray , in proposing the toast of "The Installing Master , " remarked upon the kindness and fraternal feeling which had prompted the D . P . G . M . to come over to
Bridlington for the purpose of installing their excellent Bro . Creaser in the chair , and hoped he might be long spared to give that assistance to the Craft , which was so highly appreciated by the whole of the brethren , more especially in the Province of North and East Yorkshire . The Deputy Prov . Grand Master , in reluming thanks , dwelt upon his love for Masonry . He was always ready to d ° all in his power to further the interests of the Craft ,
and it always gave him great pleasure to visit the Londesborough Lodge , for which he believed there was a great future , which he believed would be hastened by the advent to the Master ' s chair of the worthy brolher whom he had that day installed in thc chair of K . S . He would therefore propose to them the toast of " The VV . M . and Officers of the Londesborough - Lodge , " and looked forward to their having a very successful year of office .
Reports Of Masonic Meetings.
The Worshipful Master thanked the Dep . P . G . M . for the kindly manner in which he had proposed the toast , and would endeavour , so far as he had the power , to work Ihe lodge to that state of prosperity which Dr . Bell had predicted for it . The brethren of the Londesborough Lodge were intending to hold a Swiss Bazaar in the coming summer , and he hoped each one would try his utmost to make it a
success . The remaining toasts were then proposed and responded to , and one of the most enjoyable banquets ever held by the Londesborough Lodge was brought to a close , the brethren being loud in tlieir praise of the handsome manner in which the VV . M . had entertained them . During the evening some excellent songs and recitations were given by Bros . F . and E . Wardeil , D . Craig , Davis , Jas . VVatson , and R . Severs .
