The flank wall and chimney stacks , as seen from the east end of Grove Road , will be faced with red bricks , and the remaining facings will he of bright yellow stocks . The ground floor
comprises a spacious entrance hall , 11 feel 0 inches wide , paved with black marble and Portland stone squares , from which the banquet hall 24 feet 0 inches by 36 feet 6 inches , by 13 feet high , is entered . The walls will have a moulded and panelled dado around same , and the ceiling enriched with beams aud plaster cornices , with ornamental frieze under same . At the end of the banquet hall is a store room ,
12 feet by 12 feet , for chairs and tables , and a serving room , 12 feet by 12 feet , connected by a short passage or lobby with a large kitchen , having a lantern iu the ceiling for top ventilation , aud provided with large cooking range and hot plates . hall is tho cloak room , and adjoining same the lavatories are conveniently arranged . A bold staircase of Portland stone , with ornamental iron balusters , panelled dado framing , and large lantern light , leads to a cloak room and lavatories of the half-landing , and to the Masonic temple on the first floor , which is entered through the Tyler ' s room , and is 25 feet by 50 feet by IG feet high , lighted from both
