OIL AND WATER-COLOUR PICTURES BY ELDRED H . HOME BRUCE .
At the above galleries there is a small collection by the artist we have named . He is evidently a young man who possesses originality . Some of his decorative effects evince future promise . We would encourage him to give his fancy free scope ; at the same time we would kindly warn him not to run riot in colour , to which there seems to be a tendency in some of his pictures . We are pleased with Nos . 4 , Grouse ; 8 , " J ust the Day for the Ducks "—very good ; 19 , Night ; 20 , The Oatfield ; 31 , Feeding-time ; 35 , Early Sunrise . We hope to see more of his work later on .

Potter-Kirby , as was testified by the large number of brethren that had contributed . The jewel was a gold Past Master's jewel , supported by the cross-keys , as emblem of his office , and bore a suitable inscription . The W . M . 's remarks were warmly supported by Bros .
