On the Motion of Bro . JOHN SHAW , P . G . S . B ., Seconded by Bro . JAMES POOLE , Jun ., Past P . J . G . W ., 1 . —That the deepest sympathy is felt by the members of this Grand Lodge towards our venerable Brother under the adversity that has befallen him ; and we offer him our sincere and affectionate condolence . We feel that the principles of our Order call upon us to make active efforts to rescue him from want and to smooth his downward path .
On the Motion of Bro . Win . BAKER , P . J . G . W ., Seconded by Bro . RICHARD JOHN BRIDGES , Past P . S . G . W ., 2 . —That the best mode of carrying this object into effect appears to this Grand Lodge to be , by raising a Fund for the Purchase of an Annuity for our Brother . On the Motion of Bro . M ., the Grand Wardens , the Grancl Treasurer , the Grand Registrar , the Grand Secretary , the Masters of Lodges , and the First Principal of each Chapter , be , and they are hereby appointed such Committee , with power to add to their number ; and that three be a quorum .

W ., S . —That such Committee do forthwith communicate with the several Lodges of this or any other Province they may deem expedient , and solicit their aid .
