We hope to escape traitorous allusions ; and having now compelled the parties behind the scene to be a little more regular in their publication , we recommend them to remember that truth is the best beacon to direct the press . AVonders will never cease ! scarcely had the preceding remarks been written , when , to our amazement , on the llth of September we receiveci
a printed copy of such portion of the transactions of the Quarterly Communication , held on the 1 st instant , as it pleaseth the "powers" to publish . AVe give the same entire , and trust that , for the future , equal dispatch may be used . Our object is "public justice ; " and we feel proudly in having at length compelled something like the appearance of it to he evident in a quarter where delay had become constitutional . AVe positively have hopes of a radical cure , notwithstanding the " traitorous " remedies that it has been found necessary to administer .
