GRAND FESTIVAL OF THE ORDER .
THE Grand Festival has seldom been more numerously attended than on this occasion . The Grand Lodge , preceded by the Board of Stewards , and in the prescribed order , entered the Hall amid the acclamations of the Brethren , Brother Sir George Smart playing a Grand Masonic March on the organ , while they paraded round the Hall , according to the established ritual . The Ambassador of the King of Oude , in his splendid Asiatic costume , was allowed a place in the procession , and the

Lord Dundas took his seat as Chairman , and was supported by the Duke of Leinster , Lord John Churchill , the Earl of Scarborough , Lords Suffield , Monson , Albert Conyngham , the Hon . Col . Anson , Hon . J . Saville , together with the Provincial Grand Masters , the present Grand Officers of the year , and the other Past Grand Officers previously named . The company was very numerous .
