Grand Hotel , Piazza , Govent Garden , April 29 , 1839 . MR . EPITOR , —Permit an " old workman" to say a word or two in favour of his "brother labourers . " I am a stranger in England , but have had the happiness to visit , once or twice , the Lodge of " Good Report" No . 158 . M present is however to notice the
y purpose proceedings of its last regular meeting , the 11 th of April , on which occasion the yearly instalment of its Officers took place . The impressive ceremony was performed principally by Brother George Aarons , whose hi gh standing in the « Craft , " great merit , and Masonic proficiency , fully entitled him to the kindness and regard with which he was greeted on that evening , and with which he is ' generally met by the Brethren of the Institution .
The business of the Lodge having been closed , the newly elected Master , with the Wardens and Officers , were ushered into the " Banquetting Room , " where an elegant repast had been provided in the best style of Brother Evans ; the music was of the highest order—Brother Blewitt presiding at the . piano forte . _ If the promulgation of the deli ghtful and rational enjoyment of the visit referred to , shall induce emulation in the sacred cause of Masonry the Lodof Good

Should that , however , fail to be the case , it does not less become me to make known the sentiment of gratitude which I individually entertain for the courtesy which I experienced . ' s Lodce ' and can give the symbolic lecture of the Supreme Decree ? ' Province of Somerset , June , 1839 . ° CONSISTENCY
