From Companions Walter Davies aa Z ., Edwin Gauntlett as H ., John Lightfoot as J ., and nine others for a Chapter to be attached to the Selwyn Lodge , No . 1901 , Dulwich , to be called " The Selwyn Chapter , " aud to meet at the Montpelier Hotel , Chonmert Road , Peckham ( LoudonDistrict . )

6 tb . From Companions William Charles Lnptou as Z ., Alfred Stott as H ., Robert Newton Rhodes as J ., and seven others for a Chapter to be attached to the Pentalpha Lodge , No . 974 , Bradford , to be called " Tho Pentalpha Chapter . " and to meet at the Masonio

Hall , Darley Street , Bradford , Yorkshire ( Western Division ) . The ^ foregoing Petitions being in all respects regular , the -Committee recommend that the prayers thereof be respectively granted .

The Committee have further to report that they have received a memorial from tho Universal Chapter prayiug that the Chapter way be detached from Lodgo No . 81 , and attached to the Cadogan

Lodge , No . 162 , London , both Lodges having given their consent , aud that the Chapter may bo called "The Cadogau Chapter . " The Committee recommend tnat the prayer of thia memorial be granted .

Ihe Committeo have likewise received memorials , with copies of ujinntes for permission to remove the following Chapters : — The Chapter of Hope , No . 54 , from tho Spread Eaglo Hotol , to to tho Masonic Hall , Yorkshire Stroet , Eochdalo , Lancashire

( Eastern Division . ) The Bisley Chapter , No . 2317 , from tho National Schools , Bisloy , to tho Masonic Hall , Woking , Surrey . The Committee recommend that tho removal of these Chapt 9 ra be ^ auctioned .

Tho Committeo have to report that they havo received a Mtmorial from tho Companions of the "Chapter Perseverance , " No . 275 , Hudderslield , praying for a Charter authorizing them to wear a Centenary Jewel , iu accordance with Rule 102 of tho Royal Arch Regulations .

This Menu rial lining in form , aud the Chaptor hiving proved au uninterrupted esHtenco for 100 years , tho Committee recommend that the prayir thereof be granted . The Committeo have also to report the receipt of a letter from tlio

Provincial G . Scribe E . Durham , stating that Chapter De Burgbi , No . 424 , Gateshead , has not met for moro thau live years , and that ho thinks tho Charter should bo returned by tho last M . E . Z . —No returna havo been made to Grand Chapter by this Chapter since 1 S 82 .

of the Earl of Lathom , the Earl of Mount-Edgonmbe , and Sir Albert W . Woods , Trustees of " The She Jwell Gierke Trust , " for the purpose of purchasing a Government Life Annuity for Mrs . Gierke .

THB annnal festival of tho Derby Lodge , No . 302 , was celebrated at the Masonic Hall , Derby , on Monday , the 18 th instant . The proceedings derived peculiar importance from the fact that the Provincial Grand Lodge of the Province of Leicestershire ,

Northamptonshire , Derbyshire and Rutlandshire met under the banner of the Derby Lodge . There was a good attendance , representatives of every Lodge in the Province being present . The first business was in connection with the Derby Lodge , when Bro . W . J . Piper was installed

Worshipful Master , Bro . J . Walker I . P . M . performed the impressive ceremony . The following Officers were then appointed and invested : —Bros . W . J . Piper W . M .,
