LORD WARDEN LODGE , No . 1096 . THIS Lodge was convened on Friday , the 21 sfc inst ., at the St . George ' s Hall , Park-stroot , Deal , at 3 . 30 p . m ., for the purpose of installing Brother 6 . Band S . W . the W . M . eleot . This was one of the most numerously attended meetings of this Lodge that have been held for several years past , doubtless owing to the high estimamatiou in whioh Bro . Band is deservedly held , and augurs a prosperous year of office for him . To add to this distinction , the Very

M . elect into the chair of K . S ., in a manner that bas rarely beeu equalled , and never excelled . After

the usual salutations , the W . M . invested his Officers as follow : — Bros . W . Carterfield I . P . M ., R . S . Davey S . W ., H . Chambers J . W ., J . B . Harrison Chaplain , E . Kirby Treasurer , T . J . Usher Secretary , H . R . L . Botting Organist , E . Rew S . D ., G . C . Harding J . D ., J . W . Court T . G ., F . Leith M . C ., J . Fawcett and J . Shepherd Stewards , Simeon Holgate Tyler . The W . M . on rising said he had a very

pleasant duty to perform , and that was , in the name of the Lodge , to present Brother J . B . Harrrison P . M . Chaplain P . P . G . C . with a Past Master ' s jewel , in the name of the brethren , as a token of their appreciation of his connection with the Lodge since its foundation , and wishing him many years of life to wear it , and coutine his valuable services to the Lodge . The present and compliment were

gracefully and feelingly acknowledged . Voles of thanks were unani . mously accorded to the Very Worshipful D . P . G . M . for tho honour of his presence , to the visiting brethren , and to the Installing Master for his valuable services . This brought the Lodge business to a close . The brethren then adjourned to the banquet-room , where they sat down to an excellent repast provided by Brother Spurrier ,

and served in a manner that elicited the warmest praise of all present . The usual Loyal aud Masonic toasts were drunk after the usual speeches had been given . Very powerful appeals were made on behalf of our useful Charities , and many excellent saggestiops were thrown out by the speakers , which , if followed , would result in very large additional support to the Institutions . The proceedings

were varied by the performance of the following selection of music by Bro . Bottinar , Messrs . Davies and Johnston , accompanied by Mr . Nash : —The National Anthem , " God Bless the Prince of Wales , " " In the Gloaming , " " The Lost Child , " " The Diver , " " Of all the Brave Birds , " " Mark the Merry Elves , " " The Lighthouse Light . "

"The Wreath , " " A Tale of Woe , " " The Village Blacksmith , " and " Auld Lang Syne . " After the Tyler ' s toast , the whole of the company joining bands , heartily sang " Auld Lang Syne , " and then separated with the feeling of having spent a very pleasant aud eujoyable evening .

This was one of the most numerously attended meetings of this Lodge that have been held for several years past , doubtless owing to the high estimamatiou in whioh Bro . Shepherd Stewards , Simeon Holgate Tyler . The W . M . on rising said he had a very

pleasant duty to perform , and that was , in the name of the Lodge , to present Brother J . B . Harrrison P . M . Chaplain P . P . G . C . with a Past Master ' s jewel , in the name of the brethren , as a token of their appreciation of his connection with the Lodge since its foundation , and wishing him many years of life to wear it , and coutine his valuable services to the Lodge . The present and compliment were

gracefully and feelingly acknowledged . Voles of thanks were unani . mously accorded to the Very Worshipful D . P . G . M . for tho honour of his presence , to the visiting brethren , and to the Installing Master for his valuable services . This brought the Lodge business to a close . The brethren then adjourned to the banquet-room , where they sat down to an excellent repast provided by Brother Spurrier ,

and served in a manner that elicited the warmest praise of all present . The usual Loyal aud Masonic toasts were drunk after the usual speeches had been given . Very powerful appeals were made on behalf of our useful Charities , and many excellent saggestiops were thrown out by the speakers , which , if followed , would result in very large additional support to the Institutions . The proceedings

were varied by the performance of the following selection of music by Bro . Bottinar , Messrs . Davies and Johnston , accompanied by Mr . Nash : —The National Anthem , " God Bless the Prince of Wales , " " In the Gloaming , " " The Lost Child , " " The Diver , " " Of all the Brave Birds , " " Mark the Merry Elves , " " The Lighthouse Light . "

"The Wreath , " " A Tale of Woe , " " The Village Blacksmith , " and " Auld Lang Syne . " After the Tyler ' s toast , the whole of the company joining bands , heartily sang " Auld Lang Syne , " and then separated with the feeling of having spent a very pleasant aud eujoyable evening .
