Boa Accord Lodge of Mark Masters . —This Lodge met at Freemasons' Tavern on Thursday , the Dth instant , for the Installation of W . M . for the ensuing year , with the appointment of officers . The Rev . Bro . J . Drakeford was installed by V . W . Bro . Thos . Meggy , P . Grand Deacon , with unusual solemnity and fervour . Bro . W . Spencer was appointed S . W and Bro . S . Rawson ( 33 ° ) J . W . A

harmonious banquet followed . The immediate P . M ., Major Barlow , was sincerely thanked for the strenuous exertions he had made for the Lodge ' s prosperity during his year of office , and for the handsome presents which he had made . V . W . Bro . Dibdin , a Past Grand Officer , gave a specimen of his vocal abilities for the delectation of

the brethren , and the suggestive song of Past Master Davis , " Guck , guck , guck , " which has for years been identified with these festivities was forthcoming in answer to calls which admitted no denial . There are indications of the ensuing year proving one of great prosperity for the " Old Bon Accord , " under the presidency of our Rev . Bro . Drakeford .

Southwark Grand Lodge of Mark Masons , No . 22 . — An emergency meeting of the above was held on the 24 th inst ., at the Bridge House Hotel , Southwark , Bros . C . T . Sparks P . P . G . S . B . Assist .-Sec , and P . M . 's E . S . Stidolph , Hatch , & c . The Lodge was opened in due form , and the bye-laws were read and adopted . A vote of thanks was accorded to Bro . Wilkins for his excellent arrangement of the bye . laws , which was recorded on the minutes . A Past Master ' s jewel was unanimously voted to the retiring W . M . The Lodge was then closed in due form .

Egyptian Lodge of Instruction , No . 27 . —This Lodge held its usual weekly meeting at Bro . Maidwell's , the Hercules Tavern , Leadenhall-street , on Thursday evening last , 26 th October , at 7 . 30 . Present—Bros . Hill W . M ., Biddle S . W ., Hewlett J . W ., Maidwell S . D ., Hollands J . D ., Powell I . G ., Austin P . M . Preceptor , Grammer Sec , and several other brethren . The W . M . worked the ceremony of the 2 nd degree , Bro . Barter as candidate . The first and

second sections of the Second Lecture were worked by Bro . Webb , assisted by the brethren . Bro . Hill , having an engagement , here left the chair , which was then ably filled by Bro . Maidwell . Bro . Webb worked the 3 rd , 4 th , and Sth sections of the Lecture , assisted by the brethren . The Lodge was then closed in the 2 nd . and Bro . Propositions for two candidates were read , but they were unable to

attend . Comp . Wheeler , at the request of the 1 st Principal , installed into office those Comps . who were not present on the last occasion , after which Comps . Wheeler Z . 73 and Muir Z . of 87 , were affiliated as honorary members of 67 . Both the Comps . acknowledged the honour which had been conferred on them , and said if they had worked for the benefit of the Chapter before , this wouid act as a fresh incen « tive to them for increased exertions on its behalf .

Propositions for two candidates were read , but they were unable to

attend . Comp . Wheeler , at the request of the 1 st Principal , installed into office those Comps . who were not present on the last occasion , after which Comps . Wheeler Z . 73 and Muir Z . of 87 , were affiliated as honorary members of 67 . Both the Comps . acknowledged the honour which had been conferred on them , and said if they had worked for the benefit of the Chapter before , this wouid act as a fresh incen « tive to them for increased exertions on its behalf .
