it being adapted from MM . Mars and Hcnnequin ' s " Lcs Fetards , " by J . Smyth Pigott . The caste includes Miss Edna May , who plays the part of Baroness de Tregue with modesty and reserve , and who sickens lier husband by continually reading tracts and singing hymns ; Miss- Evie Greene , the popular actress of the Frivolity Theatre , who with her fine voice , and her lesson in coquetry to

the wife of the man who is secretly paying his addresses to her , and who teaches this modest and tract-reading Baroness how to win back the affections of her husband , calls for special mention ; while tlie Baron de Tregue ( Mr . Maurice Farkoa ) puts some fine acting into the piece . Mr . G . P . Huntley as the Earl of Plantagenet , causes several hearty laughs . Other parts are ably taken by Mr .

Chas . Angelo as the King of Illyria ; Mr . A . Nilson Fysher , as Pontbicket ; Miss Eva Kelly , as Sadie Poulson ; and Miss Gladys Hornfrey , as Mrs . Bright . The music is composed by Messrs . Augustus Barratt , Howard Talbot , and Lionel Monckton , and there are several taking songs and choruses . The lyrics are by Adrian Ross .
