J . Cooper , T . B . Linscott S . W ., Johnston J . W ., Atkins P . M . Treasurer , G . M . Snow P . M . Secretary , Thompson S . D ., Scott I . G . ; P . M . ' s Dwarber , Collinson , A . Melhnisb , Catherwood ,

J . Dodson , and a numerous assemblage of the brethren , including Bro . Thos . VVhaley , the father of the Lodge , and also numerous visitors , viz . —Bros . H . E . Coffin 167 , J . Linscott J . Hayden 1589 , Darin , and H . M . Levy P . M . 188 . The Lodge was opened and the minutes were confirmed . Bro . W . M . Eobinson was passed to the second degree , and ballots were taken for the admission of Messrs . E . H . Page , J . Thompson , and F . Yogt , which were unanimously in their favour . The two former brethren being present , were duly initiated into the Order , both the ceremonies being

perfectly ancl impressively rendered . The resignations of three members were accepted with regret . A sum of £ 10 10 s was voted from the funds of the Lodge to be placed on the list of the WM ., who is a Steward for the Girls' School at the next Festival in May . The Lodge was then closed , ancl the brethren , sixty-six in number , sat down to a sumptuous and rdcherehi banquet and dessert ,

provided by Bro . W . Gosden . The W . M ., in genial and appropriate terms , proposed the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts . Bro . Dwarber P . M . then rose ; in the absence of the I . P . M . through ill-health , the duty devolved upon him to propose the next toast . He felt pleased to see the W . M . in the chair . He had the reputation of being able to perform the ceremonies , aud to-night the brethren had had an

opportunity to see how ably he had carried out what was expected of him . After a song by Bro . Miller , the W . M , thanked Bro . Dwarber for his kind remarks ; tbe enthusiastic manner the brethren bad received tbe toast convinced him he had clone his work to their satisfaction his heart and soul was with the brethren of the Lodge , and in the welfare of the three Institutions , and his services would ever be at their

command . The W . M . then proposed the toast of the Initiates , and Bro . J . Linscott sang the E . A . song . Bros . Thompson and Page in responding , said they felt proud at having been introduced into Treemasonry b y Broa . Robertson ancl Dwarber ; each hacl for many years longed to become Masons , and felt it a great honour to be initiated in this old established Lodge . The toast of the Visitors was next on the list , the W . M . calling on Bros . H . M . Levy P . M . 188 and Whor-

Eobinson was passed to the second degree , and ballots were taken for the admission of Messrs . E . H . Page , J . Thompson , and F . Yogt , which were unanimously in their favour . The two former brethren being present , were duly initiated into the Order , both the ceremonies being

perfectly ancl impressively rendered . The resignations of three members were accepted with regret . A sum of £ 10 10 s was voted from the funds of the Lodge to be placed on the list of the WM ., who is a Steward for the Girls' School at the next Festival in May . The Lodge was then closed , ancl the brethren , sixty-six in number , sat down to a sumptuous and rdcherehi banquet and dessert ,

provided by Bro . W . Gosden . The W . M ., in genial and appropriate terms , proposed the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts . Bro . Dwarber P . M . then rose ; in the absence of the I . P . M . through ill-health , the duty devolved upon him to propose the next toast . He felt pleased to see the W . M . in the chair . He had the reputation of being able to perform the ceremonies , aud to-night the brethren had had an

opportunity to see how ably he had carried out what was expected of him . After a song by Bro . Miller , the W . M , thanked Bro . Dwarber for his kind remarks ; tbe enthusiastic manner the brethren bad received tbe toast convinced him he had clone his work to their satisfaction his heart and soul was with the brethren of the Lodge , and in the welfare of the three Institutions , and his services would ever be at their

command . The W . M . then proposed the toast of the Initiates , and Bro . J . Linscott sang the E . A . song . Bros . Thompson and Page in responding , said they felt proud at having been introduced into Treemasonry b y Broa . Robertson ancl Dwarber ; each hacl for many years longed to become Masons , and felt it a great honour to be initiated in this old established Lodge . The toast of the Visitors was next on the list , the W . M . calling on Bros . H . M . Levy P . M . 188 and Whor-
