was an unusually large gathering of Brethren to carry out the various functions arranged . These included a special Masonic service at St . Peters Church , in the afternoon , by permission of the Vicar ( Canon Fisher ) , followed by an initiation ceremony at the Masonic Hall , and a banquet in
