To the Editor of the FREEMASON ' S CHRONICLE . DEAR SIR AND BUOTHEB , —There is ono point in the letter of Bro . A . P . Godson , which appeared in ycnr last issue , which calls for immediate attention . I allade to that portion in which he tells us

that a mistake has been made in considering evidence that was cancelled . I feel sure that Bro . Philbrick , and those who worked with him , will readily admit tbe mistake , if it ii a mistake , into which they have fallen—no doubt most unintentionally—now that

tho matter has been brought under their notice , and I await with impatience tho next issue of your paper , in which I hope to see the whole matter put right , so far as personal explanation can do it . It

wonld be unfair to say more on tho subject at present , as only having one side of the question to work on , it is impossible to make surmise as to tha Irne state of affairs , but in face of what Bro . Godson tells tho Craft it must bo evident that " some one has blundered . "
