The Domatic Chapter of Instruction , which was established many years since , under the superintendence of the late Comp . Dr . Ladd , Avho , in his day , was recognised as one of the best Preceptors of R . A . Masonry , has lately been in abeyance , but Avas resuscitated on Wednesday

last , at the Union Tavern , Air-street , Regent-street , We Comp . John Boyd P . Z . occupied the chair , and he Avas supported by a goodly attendance . Companions of the Royal Arch at the West End , should avail themselves of the advantages for Instruction Avhich the re-establishment of this Chapter of Instruction now affords .

A Moveable Grand Lodge of M . M . M . will be held by the M . W . G . M . M . M . the Earl of Limerick at Freemasons'Hall , Bristol , on Friday next , the 28 th instant , at 3 . 30 p . m ., for the purpose of Constituting the Provincial Grand Lodge of M . M . M . of Bristol , and installing Bro . William A . F .

Powell as Provincial G . M . M . A banquet will be afterwards held at the Montague Tavern , at 5 . 30 p . m . Tickets , Avine , & c , inclusive , half-a-guinea . On Wednesday , the 26 th inst ., tho Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire will meet at Nuneaton , presided over by the Right Hon . and Right Worshipful Bro . Lord Leigh , its zealous and popular chief , for the purpose of assisting to lay the foundation stone of a new church on

the site of tho old Abbey Church of that town . The W . M . of the Lodge of Antiquity , London , has very kindly consented to lend the mallet , of Avhich our former Grand Master , Sir Christopher Wren ,, made use Avhen performing

a similar ceremony for St . Paul s Cathedral , to Lord Leigh for the occasion . The Abbey Lodge , No . 432 , Avill do the honours ; and Ave know that in course of the proceedings the claims of charity Avill certainly not be neglected by our brethren of Warwickshire .

The Phoenix Lodge , No . 914 , at Port Royal , Jamaica , Avhich Avas established specially for Naval and Military brethren on the station , has , we aro glad to learn , completed a neAV convenient Temple or Masonic Hall . A Avarrant for

ON Wednesday evening , 19 th April , a very gratifying presentation Avas made , at the Masonic Hall , Ipswich , to Dr . \ V . P . Mills , who for many years has acted as Treasurer of tho Perfect Friendship Lodge . The Lodge was well attended , amongst those present being the officers of the Lodge : Bros . J . H . Staddon W . shades ; the clock , an eight-day one , and the ornaments , are made of ormolu and enamel , and have medallions very richly painted , representing hnnting scenes . The articles , which are valued at 40 guineas , were supplied by Bro . J . B . Fraser ( Messrs . R . D . and J . B . Fraser ) , and were much admired by tho brethren . The address was as follows : —

"Dear Sir and Brother , —We , tho Worshipful Master , Wardens , Past Masters , and Brethren of tho Perfect Friendship Lodge of Freemasons , No . 37 G , beg your acceptance of the accompanying timepiece and ornaments as a slight token of the high estimation of tho many valuable services rendered our Lodge , especially as Treasurer , during a period of 26 years .

" Wishing you long life and happiness , " We subscribe ourselves , " Yours fraternally . " ( Hero follow the signatures of the W . M . and present officers anil Past Masters and Brethren of the Lodgo . )

Lpon a gtlt plate within the shade of tho clock was tho following inscription : — "Presented by tho Brethren of Lodge Perfect Friendship , No . 370 " , to W . P . Mills , 'M . D ., P . M ., P . P . G . S . W . " Suffoik , as a mark of esteem , and in recognition of his services as Treasurer for 20 years . " After tho passing of two brethren and tho initiation of Mr . W . Eoe ,

the presentation was mado by tho W . M ., Bro . J . H . Staddon , who in a most felicitons speech expressed tho obligations tha brethren wero under to their worthy Treasurer for acting in tltat capacity for tho long period of 2 G years , and asked his acceptance of tho scroll , ornaments , and time-piece . Bro . Mills suitably responded , and stated his

inability to sufficiently express his thanks to the brethren for their handsome and unexpected presentation . The Lodge haviiur been closed in due and ancient form , tho brethren retired to the banqueting room , and about SO sat down to supper . —East Aniilian Daily Times .
