Momington Lodge , No . 1672 . —The M . W . Grand Master has been graciously pleased to sanction the removal of this Lodgo from Wanstead to the King ' s Head , Fenohnrch Street . Tho usual Lodge meeting was held at the last-named well appointed establishment on Thursday , tho Sth inst . After the ceremony of the 2 nd degree had been most efficiently performed by Bro . by his Officers , a capital repast waa served by " mine host" Bro . Davies , in the Marble room , and a very pleasant evening waa spent , Bro . Marsh P . M . making the most of tho opportunity in the cause of charity . Thia young Lodge haa some very earnest Masons and thorough workers in its ranks , and we predict for it , in its new palatial home , a highly prosperous career . WHEN his Royal Highness tho Prince of Wales lays the founda . tion stone of the Catherdral at Truro—as it is probable that it witf be dono with Masonic honours—tho Freemasons of Devon would , to a very largo extent , like to bo associated in so interesting and important a ceremonial with their brethren of Cornwall . It will ba remembered what a splendid gathering of the Freemasons of the combined western provinces of the two counties there was assembled to

meet tho Prince when ho opened the New Guildhall at Plymouth . Then the venerable John Hnyshe , tho Grand Master of Devon , and tho Earl of Mount Edgcumbo , the Grand Master of Cornwall , were present to welcome tho Prince , with a gathering of Masonic brethren larger than , at that time , his Royal Highness had ever met before . Itwas certainly followed not long afterwards by that nobler gathering

of Masons , when there were some seven thousand of thorn assembled , to see the Prince installed aa the Grand Master of England , at the Albert Hall . Now , on tho 20 th of May next , I should liko to sea a repetition of the brotherly welcome afforded to the Prince when he visits tho city of his own Dukedom , to ba tho chief actor in an event

the like of which has not happened since the Reformation . Tho Earl of Mount Edgoumbe , although he is the G . M . of Cornwall , is a Devon , shire Mason , and wo havo no doubt that ho , too , would be glad to ba surrounded with brethren from his own province .
