This Lodge has exercised a powerful influence in the Province ; thero is abundance of talent , and thero is no reason why it shonld not be one of the most harmonious , compact , and wealthy in Liverpool . Tho Present W . Master is a brother eminently qualified to make it so , and the brethren should follow well his guidance . There being no further business , it was the W . M . ' s

command that the brethren adjourn to banquet . On the removal of the cloth the customary Loyal and Masonic toasts wero given . All wero duly responded to . To Bro . J . Ho said : Brethren , —tho Worshipful Master has honoured me with tho gavel , and his commands to propose this toast ; I do so

Avith pleasure , and need only advance the claims of those distinguished brethren npon you to ensure the toast being well received , but I may add , that in doing so I may safely say I am expressing the opinion of tho members of this Lodge , and the Masonio body of this town and Province , that we should like to see our Masonic heads more frequently among ns . ( Hear , hear . ) The toast Avas duly honoured .

The W . M ., in proposing tho health of tho Visiting Brethren , alluded very kindly to Bro . Davies and his visit to the Province , and informed the members of the active interest that brother took in tho Craft . He next expressed to Bro . Tueski the pleasure ho

derived from seeing him present , and accorded to each Visitor a most cordial Avelcome . To this toast suitable replies Avere made .
