THE GIRLS SCHOOL .

SATUKDAY nexfc , the 27 th instant , will be observed as Ex-Pupils' Day at the Koyal Masonic Institution for Girls , on which occasion any of the former pupils of the School will be heartily welcomed , at 3 * 30 p . m . The advantage of these

gatherings to the old scholars , as well as to the Institution itself , has been referred to on many occasions , and we can but express the hope that the assembly nexfc week will prove as successful and as profitable as any of its predecessors .

The Boys School.

THE BOYS SCHOOL .

rriHE annual visit of the Board of Stewards to the Institution 1 at Wood Green is appointed to take place on Tuesday next , 23 rd insfc ., on which occasion the prizes will be distributed by Her Grace the Duchess of Devonshire . Those who hold tickets are requested to take their seats in the Assembly Hall , by 2 * 45 p . m .

Among other attractions is a performance of the opera of " Patience " by the Boys , commencing at 4 p . m ., permission for the representation having been granted by K . D'Oyly Carte , Esq ., while after tea the pupils will give a Gymnastic display . Special fares have been arranged from Kings Gross Station of the Great Northern Railway for holders of invitation cards .

We anticipate there will be a very large gathering of friends of the Institution , indeed , the difficulty which the Board of Management have to face is how to provide for the many who desire to pay a visit to the School on this occasion , not only with the idea of deriving some amount of amusement from , the programme provided , but also to view the Institution itself , and judge of the progress made by its pupils .

THE Annual Athletic Sports of the Boys took place on Saturday , at Kempton Park , to which pleasant spot the pupils were invited by Bro . George Everett , who also acted as Treasurer for the occasion , and in many ways worked hard in the endeavour to secure the enjoyment of those present .
